Step back in time to the 1940’s with an evening dedicated to the influence of WWII celebrating the American musical renaissance—where Jazz, Swing, Big Band, the Blues, and the Golden Age of Hawaiian Music not only topped the charts but provided comfort to troops and civilians alike. Let our singing sirens of the seven seas transport you to the sound stage of KHOT Radio 101, broadcasting LIVE from Hawai’i Opera Plaza this December for just four brief engagements. Created and directed by HOT Artistic Program Officer, Jamie Offenbach, this special presentation stars the talented artists of Hawai‘i Opera Theatre’s Mae Z. Orvis Opera Studio. Join us in our exclusive Studio 101 LOUNGE for this holiday tribute to the music that connected us near and far over airwaves around the world!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS

I’ll Be Seeing You is made possible, in part, by the generous support of The Arthur and Mae Orvis Foundation, Inc. In addition to sponsoring the performances, the Foundation also provides vital support for Hawai’i Opera Theatre’s Mae Z. Orvis Opera Studio program—a training program for Hawai’i’s premier local talent. We are proud to share that I’ll Be Seeing You exclusively stars a cast of current Orvis Opera Studio artists, as well as alumni of the program.

In addition, we’d like to thank Waiākea for generously donating the still water for our performances.
