2022 HOT Opera Season

Aloha & Welcome to your Hawai’i Opera Theatre 2022 Season!

HOT’s 2022 Season continues our legacy of engaging the brightest rising stars of the opera world. Our roster of singers, directors and conductors features many exciting company debuts alongside returning artists we’ve enjoyed in past productions, including some of your favorite local talent.

At Hawai‘i Opera Theatre, finding creative artistic outlets that keep opera alive while ensuring the health and safety of our patrons, staff, and artists is our number one priority. As our community returns to live gatherings, we are closely monitoring recommendations by the CDC and local authorities aimed at creating as safe an environment for rehearsals and performances as possible. Audience members are required to provide proof of vaccination and photo ID upon entry, with COVID Testing accommodations made upon request through the box office for those with protected exemptions. Masks will also be required indoors at all times for attendees, regardless of vaccine status. Additionally, HOT requires mandatory vaccinations for all staff, volunteers, artists and artisans involved in the productions with scheduled testing protocols before engaging in rehearsals and performances.

Ticket buyers with questions or concerns can contact the HOT Box Office at (808) 596-7858 or HOTTickets@hawaiiopera.org. The safety and peace of mind will always come first, so HOT is pleased to offer complimentary ticket exchanges or refunds on previously purchased tickets.
