Originally created by the Portland Opera, this production has been installed at Opera Companies across the United States. Traditionally paired with other operas, Portland chose Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and brought in the award-winning BodyVox Dance Troupe to choreograph and dance to the choral masterpiece.

Hawaii Opera Theatre’s (HOT) production of Pagliacci & Carmina Burana is right around the corner!
This opera was originally created by the Portland Opera and HOT breaks new ground by bringing in a piece to Hawaii from another company for the first time. Bodyvox, who provided dancers in the original production, will also be coming to Honolulu from Portland to reprise their role in bringing the music of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana to Life!
