THE SHELTERING TREE

HOT’s newly commissioned world premiere opera Kamalehua: The Sheltering Tree is a portrayal of the life of emissary Timoteo Ha’alilio of the sovereign Nation of Hawai’i during the reign of Kamehameha III. Seeking ensemble singers of all voice types:
Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Baritones, and Basses

First Rehearsal: April 1, 2026
Performances: May 1, 3, 5, 2026

‍The Shining is an American opera in two acts and an epilogue, based on Stephen King’s iconic 1977 novel. HOT is seeking 11 ensemble-featured soloists for this production:
4 Sopranos, 2 Mezzos, 2 Tenors, 2 Baritones, 1 Bass

First Rehearsal: October 6, 2026
Performances: October 30 & November 1, 2026

TOSCA
Music by Giacomo Puccini
Language: Italian

Puccini’s Tosca is a timeless opera in three acts, filled with passion, intrigue, and some of the composer’s most beloved arias. HOT is seeking ensemble singers of all voice types:
Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Baritones, and Basses
Children’s Chorus: 10–15 singers

First Rehearsal: April 13, 2027
Performances: April 30 & May 2, 2027
