The key ingredient of our success is the financial support you provide with a tax-deductible gift to the HOT Annual Fund.

HOT has an annual operating budget of over $3 million, with 80% of those monies going directly into educational programs.

Ticket revenues cover only 40% of HOT's annual expenses. Like our colleagues on the mainland, these percentages are in keeping with national trends - opera simply does not pay for itself by ticket revenues alone. These figures underscore the unique and critical nature of your gift - we simply could not do it without your support.
