Maestro Michael Ching is known to HOT for his artistic excellence conducting our productions of Carmen, The King and I, The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance and La Traviata, he is also the Artistic and General Director of Opera Memphis, where he has been since 1992. For HOT’s 50th Season, he takes the baton for La Bohéme and collaborates next with Karen Tiller for a Jun Kaneko production of Madama Butterfly at Opera Memphis.
