An introduction to the Season of Escape! Be part of the excitement on Thursday, September 18, starting at 6 p.m., when HOT supporters gather at Chef Mavro restaurant for an exclusive preview of the Grand Opera Season 2009.  This Evening of Escape includes a dynamic preview of the 2009 season by HOT’s Executive Director and the stage director of next season’s Carmen plus an irresistible 3-Course Menu from Chef Mavro’s award-winning menu of contemporary regional cuisine.  The cost is $69 (plus tax and tip) and includes a complimentary kir royal and a personal welcome and description of the menu by Chef Mavro.
    In this 10th anniversary year of his restaurant, Chef Mavro is expanding his support for what he calls family treasures of our community.  “We’re partnering with Hawaii Opera Theatre as another way to extend our support.  The experience of ‘Escape’ is the opera theme this year and it’s what we offer at the restaurant as well.
