Pūko‘a Studios will be open on May 30 for Opera at the Lofts! Don’t miss the oppotunity to see the work of and meet Artist & Owner Page Chang!

A Hapa-Hawaiian from Washington, DC, Page moved home to Hawaii 21 years ago.  Challenging Hawaiian stereotypes, she strives to replace them with authentic, modern images of our beautiful home and our steadfast Hawaiian people. She does so in drawings, oil paintings and traditional Hawaiian kapa making. Experimenting with modern printing processes on Kapa, she merges the two sides of her family and her modern art education with ancient Hawaiian practices.
