HOT Internships

An intern program is available to high school students.

Internships are available in the chorus, as supernumeraries (non-singing, non-speaking walk-on parts), in our Wigs and Makeup Department, as note takers, office help and other areas based on interest and availability.

To be considered for an intern position, a completed nomination form, signed by the nominating teacher, must be submitted to Hawaii Opera Theatre. Only very reliable students should be nominated. Reliability is a much more important consideration than talent.
